Our Founders

Pastor Jerry Hayes was born November 7, 1951 to Raymond & Theresa Hayes in Marion, South Carolina. His grandfather was a pastor of their family church. As a child, Pastor Hayes learned the fundamentals of becoming a great leader very early. He & his siblings had to rise up early to ensure that the church was properly heated by getting fire wood for the furnace before everyone arrived. He was punctual, humble, obedient, hardworking, and very ambitious. Little did he know these same qualities would be significant in molding him later on in his life in becoming a pastor. Pastor Jerry later moved to New York. There he reunited with his love Beulah Gavins, now known as First Lady Beulah Hayes. They were married and were blessed with four lovely children to their union. Jeffrey, Wendy, Miranda, and Natasha. In 1979 he and his family joined the One Accord Apostolic Church in Brooklyn, New York. There he received the precious gift of the Holy ghost and was ordained as deacon. He served faithfully as a deacon for many years. He would arrive early to open the church, clean before service, and prepare to open up with prayer. Above all the traits and attributes Pastor Jerry possessed, his commitment & dedication to prayer outweighed them all. He was known for his dedication & faithfulness in prayer. After serving faithfully for many years as deacon, his pastor the late Apostle John W. Barber saw the calling on his life and ordain him as a Minister of the gospel. In 1995, he and his wife moved to Milledgeville, Georgia to assist Bishop T.L. Hill at the Body of Christ Church. One year later, God called them into pastor-ship. They are the founders of Greater Love Outreach Ministries under Prelate Apostle Michael and Louise Goings of Dillon, South Carolina. Pastor Hayes was a man of great integrity & humility. His vision for G.L.O. Ministries was to be that city Jesus speaks about that sits on a hill. With a light that shines so bright as a beacon of hope for everyone that sees it. Fulfilling the great commission of Jesus Christ to be witnesses in our families, communities, and nation. With goals of ultimately impacting the uttermost parts of the world. Pastor Jerry Hayes was a prime example of faith in action. Pastor Jerry Hayes was a pastor after GLO’s own heart and was one of God’s premiere voices for such a time as this.
Elect Lady Beulah Hayes was born on January 31, 1951, to Frank Gavins and Alice Dennis in HollyHill, South Carolina. At an early age Elect Lady Hayes left S.C. and moved to Brooklyn, New York with her mother’s blessing to better her future. Being the eldest sister she learned many motherly tasks early in her life. After moving to New York, she married her childhood sweetheart, Jerry Hayes, in 1978. One year later, she joined the One Accord Apostolic Church in New York and received the gift of the Holy ghost. She served as the National Usher Board President for the Born Again Churches under Bishop John Barber for many years. This gift was tried within the first few months of her life as a believer. This battle would fortify her faith and forever change her destiny. This fight was to save her marriage and bring salvation to her husband. Elect Lady Hayes, recalls her husband saying “I can’t even touch you without feeling like I’m touching God. Either I have to get saved or I’m leaving you.” She humbled herself under the mighty hand of God. Elect Lady Hayes was crushed but not destroyed. Something leaped inside of her and by faith she rebuked the devil; and declared the will of God for husband’s life. She went on a one day fast, walked the floor praying and interceding for her husband. Later that week, she was preparing to go to a revival and by faith she packed put her husband’s white jogging suit. Elect Lady Hayes by faith believed that if she could just get her husband to the church, God would save him and he would get baptized. Though her husband usually refused, this particular night he agreed to come with her to church. Long story made short, God smiled upon Elect Lady Hayes and said “because of your faith be it unto thee.” Her husband was born again and baptized that night!
